An exciting day with the world’s best pup

Monday I had a dentist appointment in the afternoon, so beforehand we went to the mall to do some Christmas shopping. There was a man outside one of the entrances ringing a Salvation Army bell; Rocky didn’t care one bit about him ringing the bell. The man told my mom (while Rocky was taking care of business) that his dad had 4 or 5 guide dogs before he passed away. He loved seeing Rocky!

Rocky is one of the best shoppers; he moves around the racks with ease and is perfectly. The only problem is that he loves to look at himself in the mirrors. It is not like he is trying to find out if there is another dog looking back at him; it is more like he is saying “look at that handsome puppy!” Can’t let it get to his head that he is so cute.

He did great with all of the crowds and the noise. Santa didn’t seem to bother him one bit. Rocky seemed to enjoy Bath and Body Works. He loves to smell all of the good smelling scents or it could have been all the attention he was getting, he is quite the teenage boy.

[Rocky and I at Bath and Body Works. Rocky is laying on the wood floor which has red polka dots on it. I am checking out at a write counter wearing jeans and write jacket. Sitting on the floor beside us there is a red bag that says believe. In the background there are red posters on the walls on the counter there are small items for sell]

[Rocky and I in front of the elevator. Rocky is sitting looking at the camera in his blue puppy in training coat. I am standing next to him wearing jeans and white jacket with a brown purse (also known as my suitcase, since I have enough stuff in it to survive a natural disaster) In the background cream wall with the elevator button, which Rocky found, and some water fountains]

After a few hours of shopping we headed to the dentist, where he was fabulous. He got a little concerned at one point at what they were doing and had to check it out, but realized they weren’t hurting me and laid back down. All of my pups have enjoyed going to the dentist.

We then came home and Rocky took a nap. Once my dad got home we went for a walk to look at the lights. There is a house in our neighborhood that has lights set to music. Rocky thought that was quite interesting and watched it. He also got to see one of his friends, and he did really well just sitting there while we talked. Both Ely and Rocky love to go for walk in the fog at night. They get to show off their very cool collar lights that they get to wear!

    What a handsome guy!

Eve was leery around Santa, but was ok once I started "petting" Santa
