Rocky goes to battle

Rocky normally attends children church with me and helps teach first grade. Sunday morning we had a lot of volunteers out of town due to it being Labor Day and a student beach retreat. Since I had kindergarten and first grade Sunday morning, I thought it would be a good idea for Rocky to attend big church with my parents. He slept through the really loud music and slept through the sermon. I am really glad that I did, since I had a ton of kids Sunday.

Once I got home from church, Rocky went with my family to a Revolutionary war reenactment. We got there before the battle reenactment began. Rocky did fantastic with all the loud guns going off! He didn’t care about it at all and there were some that were really loud! He was more concerned about some of the other dogs that were barking. After the battle we went around and checked out the rest of the old buildings. Rocky got to meet some hens and a rooster, and some puppies who were a part of the reenactment. They were only a month older then Rocky. He also got to meet some sheep, horses and a donkey.

Rocky and I when we first got there. During the reenactment what Rocky thought of the reenactment A Rocky size cannon! Rocky was checking out the hens, they were talking to him The cute puppies at the reenactment "Mom, that sheep is looking at me!" "This looks like a good place to take a nap!"

I am so blessed to be able to raise such a sweet puppy like Rocky! Sunday afternoon he didn’t act like a 5 month old puppy, he acted like he was a year old who was getting ready to go back for advanced training. He walked right beside me and did everything he was asked to do. He got really tired towards the end, but he was a little trooper and such a good boy.

A very, very sleepy puppy!

  1. What a cool way to socialize him. He's so big! Pepe is kinda tall-ish but is no where near as "broad and muscular" looking as Rocky! He's so handsome :)

  3. He's so cute! I don't know, Eve's a year and has been bored (since she can't go anywhere until her staples come out)so she's trying my patience quite a bit lately!
